TECH INNO DAY is an annual innovation event bringing together students, researchers, startups, technology companies and investors.
A place for ideas that have been living in labs and classrooms to finally meet the outside world.
And an event about innovation needed to look the part.

Some ideas need to get out of the lab.
Universities are full of people working on things most of us haven’t even thought about yet.
New technologies.
Prototypes.
Research.
Products.
Potential businesses.
TECH INNO DAY gives those ideas somewhere to be seen.
Student teams, researchers and startups get to put their work in front of the people who might help take it further.
From university project to something much bigger.
Research meets business.
TECH INNO DAY isn’t only an exhibition.
It’s where two worlds that don’t always naturally meet are put in the same room.
Students. Researchers. Startups. New technology.
Ideas that are still growing.
Companies. Investors. Mentors. Potential partners.
People who can take those ideas further.
Through exhibitions, pitches, talks and networking, ideas get the opportunity to meet the people who can challenge them, support them, fund them or help bring them to market.
Sometimes innovation needs technology. Sometimes it just needs the right introduction.

So, what does innovation look like?
We didn’t want the identity to fall back on the usual visual shorthand for technology.
No random circuit boards.
No glowing brain.
No stock photo of someone wearing a VR headset.
Instead, we built a simple symbol around movement, technology and exploration.
Arrows form the basis of the mark.
Put together, they become something else.
🚀 or 🤖?
Look at the TECH INNO DAY symbol one way and you can see a spaceship.
Turn it around and something else appears:
a robot.
Two simple references to technology and innovation hidden inside the same mark.
A little visual experiment for an event built around people experimenting with much bigger things.

Pointing somewhere new.
The arrows aren’t only there to create the spaceship and robot.
They bring direction and movement into the wider identity.
Forward.
Up.
Across.
Somewhere else.
Innovation doesn’t stay still. Neither does the identity.

Technology after dark.
Dark teal, light teal and white give TECH INNO DAY a visual world that feels technical without becoming cold or overly corporate.
The darker foundation lets the brighter elements, arrows and information stand out—giving the event a slightly futuristic atmosphere while remaining clear enough to work across practical event communication.
Schedules.
Speakers.
Presentations.
Signage.
Stages.
Social media.
One system needed to hold all of it together.
The identity had to work in the room.
Event identities don’t live quietly inside brand guidelines.
On screens.
On stages.
Behind speakers.
Across signage.
Next to prototypes.
Surrounded by hundreds of people.
They get big. Very big.
The TECH INNO DAY identity was designed to remain recognizable whether someone encountered a small piece of event communication or walked into a space filled with it.

What we worked on.
Logo
Creating a technology-focused symbol that changes depending on how you look at it: part spaceship, part robot.
Visual identity
Building a futuristic, energetic system around arrows, movement and a dark and light teal palette.
Event communication
Creating an identity flexible enough to work across the many different formats needed around a live innovation event.
The future has a demo version.
TECH INNO DAY gives talented students, researchers and startups somewhere to show what they’ve been working on.
We gave the event an identity to match.
