GoSlovakia is a tourism platform for discovering places, experiences and events across Slovakia—from the landmarks everyone knows to the places you might otherwise drive straight past.
Our job was to give that invitation to explore a new identity.

What are we doing this weekend?
Sometimes the hardest part of a trip isn’t getting there.
It’s figuring out where to go in the first place.
Interesting places are scattered across maps, regional websites, Facebook pages, tourism portals and recommendations from someone who went there three summers ago.
And smaller places can easily disappear behind the destinations everybody already knows.
GoSlovakia brings them together. One place for discovering more of Slovakia.
GO.
The name already contained everything the brand needed. An invitation. An action. A direction.
So we made GO the most recognizable part of the identity.
Big.
Simple.
Hard to miss.
Because ultimately, that’s exactly what GoSlovakia wants people to do.
Stop looking for somewhere to go. And GO.

GO for whatever you’re into.
Not everybody explores a country in the same way. Some people want castles. Some want mountains. Some want to get on a bike. Some are mostly interested in what they can eat when they get there.
GoSlovakia organizes discovery around different interests:
GO for history.
GO for nature.
GO for bike.
GO to taste.
That makes GO more than part of the name. It becomes a simple language for the entire experience.

The map isn’t just for getting somewhere.
GoSlovakia isn’t built around the fastest route from A to B.
The point is everything you might discover between them.
Its interactive map brings together attractions, events, cycling and hiking routes and smaller regional destinations that can otherwise be difficult to find.
It shifts the question from “How do I get there?”
to: “What’s around here?”

Then the digital world follows you outside.
One of the most interesting parts of GoSlovakia happens after you’ve closed the laptop and actually gone somewhere.
Physical GO POI signs connect locations around Slovakia with the digital platform.
Find one while exploring and the physical place becomes an entry point into more information about where you are.
The platform doesn’t only help you decide where to go.
It comes with you when you get there.

See GO. Find something.
That connection between the identity and the physical tourism infrastructure makes the simplicity of the logo particularly useful.
The GO needs to work on a screen. But it also needs to belong out there.
On a sign.
At a landmark.
Along a trip.
Somewhere you've never been before.
The identity becomes a little marker saying:
There’s something here worth discovering.
Slovakia beyond the obvious.
The value of a platform like GoSlovakia isn’t only showing people the country’s biggest attractions. It’s making the smaller ones easier to find too.
A local producer.
A cycling route.
A small museum.
An event in a town you’ve never visited.
A place you didn’t know existed twenty minutes away.
The brand needed to feel less like an official tourism directory and more like an invitation to see what’s out there.
Local. Playful. Ready to go.

What we worked on.
Logo redesign
Building the identity around the strongest part of the existing name: GO.
Visual identity
Creating a recognizable system designed to feel adventurous, local and playful across digital and physical applications.
GO as a brand device
Turning a simple part of the name into a flexible invitation that could work across different kinds of experiences and destinations.
Digital & physical applications
Creating an identity capable of belonging both to an online tourism platform and the physical GO POI system visitors encounter while exploring Slovakia.
Don’t just visit Slovakia. GO Slovakia.
There are places you know.
And plenty you don’t.
GoSlovakia gives you a reason to go looking for them.
