dog2love is a web portal that connects people looking for a dog with dogs waiting for a home in shelters across Slovakia.
A few simple questions are all it takes. Smart Matching searches for dogs that fit your lifestyle and shows how compatible you could be.
Too many dogs.
Too many places to look.
Finding a shelter dog isn’t always easy.
Which shelters should you check?
Which dogs are available?
Would they be happy living with you?
And what actually happens once you’re interested in one?
On the other side, shelters are already incredibly busy, with much of the adoption process still handled manually.

dog2love was created to make that connection easier for both sides.

Meet your match.
Instead of scrolling through hundreds of dogs and trying to guess which one might be right for you, dog2love starts with a few questions.
What size dog would you prefer? Do you live in an apartment? Do you have children or pets? Is your lifestyle busy, active,...?
The matching takes less than a minute.
Then dog2love compares your answers with the dogs in the portal and shows your best matches including a compatibility percentage for each one.
93%
Maybe you should meet.
And if your dog isn’t there today, you don’t have to keep checking. New matches can come straight to your inbox every week.

Cute was part of the brief.
We didn’t want dog2love to feel like a charity website.
Adopting a dog is a big decision, but it can also be exciting, funny and full of anticipation. We wanted the product to feel like that too.
So we built the identity around bold pink and grey, playful dog imagery and plenty of personality.
The dogs aren’t perfectly symmetrical either. Different eyes, different ears, different little quirks.
Because shelter dogs don’t have to be perfect to be very, very cute.
And then there’s Kuky—the animated dog who follows you through the experience and makes it feel a little like you already have a dog by your side.

Less paperwork. More happy endings.
Shelters get their own side of the product, where they can add dogs, manage interested adopters, follow the adoption process and keep a history of what happened.
The goal was to take a process that often lives across messages, calls and manual records and give shelters one place to manage it.
Because finding the match is only the beginning.

What we worked on.
Logo
A playful identity built around the imperfect charm of shelter dogs.
Visual identity
Bold pink, grey, dog imagery and a visual world designed to make adoption feel positive and approachable.
UX research
Understanding both sides of the experience: the people looking for a dog and the shelters trying to find them the right home.
User flows
Designing the journey from smart matching to showing interest, and the shelter workflow from adding a dog to completing an adoption.
UX/UI design
Turning a fairly complex system into a product that feels simple, friendly and easy to navigate.
Testing
Testing the experience and refining the flows before the final product went live.
And yes, it’s real.
dog2love is live and helping people discover shelter dogs that might just be right for them.
