Dayllo Ideas is a mobile app for capturing the thoughts you don’t want to lose, and putting the interesting ones in front of people you trust.
Write it down. Add a photo. Record it. Share it. See what people think. Then come back to it when you’re ready.

Wait, what was that idea again?
Ideas rarely arrive when you’re conveniently sitting in front of a document called Great Ideas.docx.
They happen in the shower.
On a walk.
During a meeting about something completely unrelated.
You tell yourself you’ll remember. You don’t.
We had the same problem. As a team that constantly comes up with new things we might want to make, our ideas were ending up everywhere. Notes. Messages. Random documents. Our own memory.
So we made one place for them.

Catch it before it disappears.
Dayllo is intentionally simple at the moment an idea appears. Open the app. Create an idea. Write it down, add an image or record it when typing feels like too much work. That’s it.
It doesn’t need to become a project. It doesn’t need a business plan. It doesn’t even have to be particularly good yet.
First, just don’t lose it.

Okay, but is it actually a good idea?
Saving ideas was only half of what we wanted. Sometimes you need another brain. Dayllo lets you share an idea with other people and ask what they think—they can rate it, leave comments and start a conversation around it.
Maybe they’ll love it.
Maybe they’ll see a problem you didn’t.
Maybe one comment makes the original idea significantly better.
The important part is that an idea doesn’t have to sit quietly in your notes waiting for you to rediscover it six months later.
You can put it in front of people while you’re still excited about it.

More than yes or no.
Getting the rating system right took some experimenting. Originally, evaluating an idea was simple: yes or no. We eventually realized that wasn’t particularly useful. Ideas aren’t usually that binary.
Something can be interesting but need work. Promising but not quite there. Great for someone else but wrong for you. So we moved to a five-point rating system, giving people more room to express what they actually think.
A small change. A much more useful answer.

Your own little idea universe.
Dayllo’s visual world takes the idea of ideas floating around quite literally. Ideas become planets. Colorful cosmonauts explore them. And the small glowing sphere in the Dayllo identity becomes its own little planet. The starting point for a larger universe built around creativity and curiosity.
It’s playful because ideas should be. Not every thought you save needs to become the next big thing. Sometimes it’s enough to wonder:
What if?
One Dayllo. More to come.
Dayllo Ideas was conceived as the first part of a larger Dayllo family. The name comes from the idea of something you come back to daily.
A collection of small, useful apps designed around things we want to keep track of in everyday life.
Ideas came first because that’s what we needed ourselves. For now, Dayllo Ideas has one job:
Give every idea you might want later a place to stay.
What we worked on.

And if you’re not sure? Ask someone.
